Captain Cader Edwards was born in 1705 in Wales. He was a Sea Captain before 1757 in Wales. He emigrated in 1757 from Baltimore, Delaware. His Family information after 1765 placed him in Christianburg, Smyth County, Virginia. He married Mary Gordon. She was born in 1729 in Scotland, of the Clan Gordon.
